The Queens Club annually plays host to the Grass Court season curtain raiser and acts as a form guide for Wimbledon. 2009 saw a historic win for Britain's Andy Murray as he became the first British winner since 1938. Hopes were high that he could carry that form into the Wimbledon fortnight but it was not to be. Murray will again be the star turn in a glittering field playing on arguably the best grass-court surface in the world.
